Here´s a chicken inspired by the youtube carver   ddalo  . This guy makes excellent carving videos ( about 40 to date ), so be sure to check´em  out.

Oops !   Due to breakage this didn´t turn out as planned.  I´m still learning.

Uups !  Wegen Bruch hat´s nicht so geklappt, wie geplannt. Ich bin noch am Lernen.

As with all my carvings I always cut into all the creases. This allows the oil to seep in deeper and lend more contrast in the finished carving.

Wie bei alle meiner Schnitzereien schneide ich alle Rillen nach. Dies ermöglicht ein tieferes Eindringen des Öls, was mehr Kontrast im fertigen Figur bringt.

Standard wood glue.

Normaler Holzleim.
